The annual fair at Fort Mason Center features handmade items from hundreds of artisans and makers, DIY workshops, food and drink.

Bay Area ensembles inspired by the tradition of Japan, Cuba, Hawaii and Zimbabwe. Highlights include percussionist John Santos and tabla master Zakir Hussain.
Blending art and soul in one of the country’s most unique neighborhoods, the Fillmore Jazz Festival is the largest free Jazz festival on the West Coast, drawing over 100,000 visitors over the Independence Day weekend on Fillmore Street in San Francisco between Jackson and Eddy Streets.

The Norwegian Expressionist best known for painting “The Scream” was one of the most celebrated and controversial artist of his time. The exhibition features 45 works by Munch (1863-1944) about art, love, mortality and the ravages of time. Led by music director Michael Tilson Thomas, this concert features works by Charles Ives, Lou Harrison Antheil and a piece by MTT himself inspired by a Carl Sandburg poem.
