AT&T Park Sound Notification - Saturday, August 4th

AT&T Park Sound Notification

Private Event – Field Concert
Saturday, August 4th

Dear Residents and Business Owners,

This is a pre-event notice to inform you that there will be a private concert at AT&T Park on Saturday, August 4th, 2018, from 6:45 PM – 10:30 PM.  We hope the following information will help better prepare you for the event.

We have worked closely with the San Francisco Entertainment Commission to put a plan in place that will mitigate the sound impact in the neighborhoods surrounding the ballpark. On the day of the concert, we will have staff positioned throughout the surrounding neighborhoods with decibel readers. Our staff in the surrounding neighborhoods will have direct contact with our staff maintaining the sound complaint hotline, so that we can directly address any issues or complaints that arise. This enables us to monitor the situation in real time and to collect valuable data so we can continue to improve the acoustical plans for future shows.

If you experience any sound disturbances on August 4th, we will have a sound complaint hotline set up at AT&T Park to field calls.  Please note that the sound complaint hotline number is 415-972-1771.

Please know that we are utilizing the data collected from recent AT&T Park concerts, as well as constructive feedback from neighbors in specific neighborhoods, to inform our acoustical plans for the upcoming show. There are, however, variables that affect the sound on each performance (speaker positioning, weather, bass line, etc.), so we appreciate your patience as we continue to improve our operating procedures.

Sound Schedule:

Saturday, August 4th

  • 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM – Sound System Testing (Intermittent testing)
  • 6:45 PM – 10:30 PM – Concert

We are taking all appropriate actions to ensure a minimal amount of impact on your neighborhood or business on August 4th and we appreciate your cooperation and flexibility.  Please feel free to contact Brad Hansen with any questions or concerns.  Thank you in advance for your support, and we look forward to working with you to make this concert successful for all involved.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.
