PIER 39 is spreading holiday cheer on San Francisco’s waterfront. Pier 39 is unwrapping a new, nightly tree lighting show on its 60’ live Christmas tree at the top of each hour from 5 -10 pm.
Synchronized to holiday music, the tree transforms into a kaleidoscope of swirling colors, adorned with thousands of specialty lights and ornaments. These dazzling tree lighting moments take center stage all season long.

The annual Peet’s Holiday Donation Program is entering its 33rd year, supporting No Kid Hungry, a national non-profit that works to end child hunger in America.
To celebrate the program’s success and thank donors to the charities, Peet’s is treating Peetnicks to a free drip coffee or brewed tea on Christmas Eve, December 24 at participating locations.

Kids of all ages love to press the buttons and watch the trains zoom through their colorful holiday village. This custom-built exhibit is a labor of love on the part of SFPL’s own Facilities and Engineering staff members, who assemble it and maintain it every year.
