Make our neighborhood better, brunch with cool people (sorry not sorry, we’re biased), get deals to some fave local spots, and wrap it up before the Sunday Scaries hit with an easy hour of picking up trash around our neighborhood with friends and the community!

SF Public Works, TogetherSF, Shine On SF, and Manny’s is hosting a weekly neighborhood trash pick up to help keep our area clean and neat.

By picking up with us, you’ll get a special certificate that includes a whole host of neighborhood discounts valid that day, including:

  • $3 well highballs and $1 PBRs – Blondies
  • Half price shots (specific shots only) – Bond Bar
  • Free Tasty Small Fries – Beehive Bar
  • One free Yoga Class – HAUM Yoga
  • One free Yoga Class – Love Story Yoga
  • 2 for 1 empanadas – Venga Empanadas
  • One drink ticket (beer or wine) – Curio Bar

We’ll provide the gear. All you need to bring is yourself(and maybe the two or three friends you get to sign up to enjoy those 2-1 empanadas). When we’re done, and before you settle in for those dollar margs, join us for brunch to support Farming Hope – the non-profit restaurant at Manny’s! Don’t forget to bring layers and comfortable shoes!

THRIVE CITY ANNOUNCES 2026 SUMMER PROGRAMMING 

Events Include Soccer Watch Parties, Pride Comedy Night, a Pickleball Tournament, Live Music, And More 

SAN FRANCISCO — Thrive City has announced its 2026 summer programming schedule, which features over 80 free family-friendly events from June through August. Highlights include soccer watch parties, Pride Comedy Night, Paws-itively Summer, a third annual Pickleball Tournament, fitness classes, and more. Guests are encouraged to RSVP for upcoming events at thrivecity.com.

Upcoming Thrive City events include: 

  • Soccer Fan Marches and Watch Parties – In celebration of this summer’s soccer tournament, Thrive City will host a variety of activations, including fan marches and watch parties of various games. On Friday, June 12, fans can support Team USA before their match against Paraguay by meeting at Crane Cove Park at 4:30 p.m. On Thursday, June 18, attendees can cheer on Team Mexico before they face South Korea on Thursday, June 18, with festivities beginning at the Pier 48 Ferry Dock at 4:30 p.m. Both activations will feature high-energy pre-match festivities including live music and giveaways before a marching band and spirit leaders march with the crowd to the Thrive City plaza at 5 p.m. to view the games on the video board.  
  • Soccer Viewings – In addition to the fan marches and watch parties, Thrive City will broadcast various soccer matchups from June 11 through July 19 on the video board. Lawn chairs will be available to guests on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • Little Bears Music Classes – Little Bears returns to Thrive City with music classes for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers on various Fridays starting June 5 through August 21. Parents have an opportunity to shake, rattle, and dance with their little ones with two different sessions: Little Bears Music Class for Babies & Toddlers (Ages 3 and under) from 10 to 11 a.m. and the Little Bears Music Class for Preschoolers (Ages 4 to 6) from 12 to 1 p.m.
  • Pride Comedy Night – Pride Comedy Night returns to Thrive City for its fourth year on Friday, June 5, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Hosted by Sister Roma, attendees can expect an evening of laughter with comedians such as Akeem Woods, Justin Lucas, Tammy TeaLove, Stroy Moyd and more.
