The opera’s 95th season includes performances of Giacomo Puccini’s “Turandot” (though Dec. 9) and premieres of “Elektra” (Sept. 9-27) and “La Traviata” (Sept. 23-Oct. 17). 301 Van Ness Ave., 415.864.3330
The festival brings together fine art, music, food and wine. The event attracts more than 270 award-winning artist from around the country along with 30,000 patrons.

Saturdays, from now through September 16th, there will be free movie nights at Spark Social.
Come early to grab a blanket spot on the astroturf, toss a few bean bags at the community cornhole, and pick up your gourmet picnic from SF’s favorite food trucks!
Food trucks will begin serving at 5pm.
Advance tickets are free of charge, and allow ticket holders to access the movie site at 6:15pm.
Films begin after sundown, between 8pm and 8:45pm.
