The largest Asian art museum in the Western part of the world is right here in San Francisco. The Asian Art Museum of San Francisco is home to many different forms of art from many different countries. On the first Sunday of every month, you can see it all for free! Just show up during museum hours from10:00 am to 5:00 pm and enjoy room upon room of amazing Asian art for free. The museum is also close to City Hall, so you might as well take a look at that while you are in the area.
Back after 10 years, Noodlefest 2022 is a celebration of North Beach and Chinatown’s culinary heritage – showcasing 30 different vendors from these distinct and culturally rich neighborhoods. We are coming together in unity to share good food and support our local and legacy businesses. Our celebrity guest judges Chef Martin Yan, Food Writer and Restaurant Critic for SF Chronicle Soleil Ho, and Travel Writer and Columnist for SF Weekly “Broke-Ass” Stuart Shuffman will join us to taste our noodles – you won’t want to miss it. Give our community some LOVE by joining us on April 30th from 2-4 PM!
Where is the event? Noodlefest will take place in Chinatown and North Beach, along historic Grant Avenue between Green Street and Pacific Avenue.
SF Noodlefest 2022 is supported by the City of San Francisco’s Office of Economic and Workforce Development, the North Beach Business Association and Chinatown Community Development Center.
While tickets are SOLD OUT, a limited amount will be available for $35 on a first-come, first-serve basis on the day of the event.

The SF’s Recology Artist in Residence Program is bringing art and inspiration to you virtually! They feature several past artists through their social media pages each week. They are holding AIR webinars on the last Thursday of every month. During these webinars, they delve into the more than thirty–year history of the program, the application process, residency details, and highlighted work from a rotating set of former artists-in-residence.

DogFest is back! After two years in the virtual world, San Francisco’s famous dog- and kid-centric community festival returns to Duboce Park for its fifteenth year. Saturday, April 23, 2022.
On Friday, legislation will go into effect making the Gardens of Golden Gate Park free for San Francisco residents as well as all veterans regardless of residence. The ordinance, introduced by Mayor London Breed and co-sponsored by Supervisor Gordan Mar, removes resident admission at the Conservatory of Flowers and Japanese Tea Garden for all San Francisco residents.
Non-resident admission fees are, unfortunately, going up. Normally $10 for adults, starting April 30th admission for the Japanese Tea Garden and Conservatory Flowers rise from $10 to $13 for adults from February through October each year.
The ordinance opens all three attractions to veterans at no cost, regardless of residence.
The San Francisco Botanical Garden is already free to San Francisco residents.
