Message from Supervisor Matt Haney- MB community update

Good Afternoon,

I have a long-awaited update on the opening of Mission Bay streets: the Department of Public Works (DPW) has announced a target date of May 3rd for the opening of Channel Street and Mission Bay Blvd N and S.

A dedicated point person, Brook Mebrahtu, has been appointed within DPW to push us through the last steps, and he has been very effective. The final step we are waiting on is the installation of some stop signs and sidewalk striping before next Friday.

Also, please save the date for the Grand Opening of the Mission Bay Dog Park on May 18th.

Thank you all for your continued advocacy and engagement on getting our streets and parks open!!
