A san Francisco tradition since 1912, this is the oldest consecutively run annual footrace in the world. The whole city comes out for this event, from the serious athlete to the costumed reveler. The 12k journey takes runners from the San francisco Bay to the breakers on Ocean Beach.

Based on the book “Amazon Beaming” by Petru Popescu, this one-man play directed and performed by Simon McBurney follows a National Geographic photographer who finds himself lost in the Amazon forest in 1969. This precarious circumstance leads the protagonist to a surreal, life-changing encounter enhanced by the use 3D technology (viewers experience the play with headphones).
