HEAD WEST | a local outdoor, retail marketplace in partnership with the Hayes Valley Neighborhood Association.
HEAD WEST was founded and is curated by creative + small brand owner Jimmy Brower and is led by an incredible team of leaders in the field.
2022 DATES: 4x Seasonally Sundays | Apr 24 – June 26 PRIDE – Aug 28 – Oct 23
PARTICIPANTS include Makers, Merchants, Crafters, Designers + Artists, as well as Non-Profit Organizations. Preference will be given to handmade, locally sourced, small batch, eco-friendly, conscious offerings and products. Mass manufactured and MLM companies will not be accepted.
COMMUNITY BOOTHS: Those that identify as BIPOC, AAPI, LGBTQIA+ or Non-Profit are highly encouraged to apply for both Marketplace Booths as well as a no-cost Community Booth. HAYES VALLEY is a cool, revitalized neighborhood in the Western Addition. The main commercial stretch, Hayes Street, teems with upscale boutiques for designer fashions and home decor, plus dessert shops, chill watering holes and a wide array of on-trend restaurants. The close-knit neighborhood features a community garden, a pocket park with art installations, and access to music and theater near the Civic Center.
HEAD WEST will take place, light rain or shine, along Hayes Street, Octavia Street adjacent to Patricia’s Green + Linden Street, except in June which will be an abbreviated PRIDE marketplace adjacent to Patricia’s Green + Linden Street only.
